Our Village of Millac has its own bakers selling freash bread & croissants, right on our door step are many country walks, which are all sign posted and maps are available from ourselves or the Tourist office

L`lisle-Jourdain, with bars and restaurants, also has a large market on the 20th of each month. There is a Viaduct over the Vienne River with Bungee jumping most weekends in the summer.

The Motor racing is 10 minutes drive away. Motor car and Motor bike racing and special events are held here most of the year.

Near by is la vallee des cerfs,  deer farm.which have tours and sell produce from the farm also they do Horse riding

At Romange is the  which has the largest gorilla group in France, as well as a large variety of monkeys, which you can watch being fed throughout the day well worth a visit There is a Buffalo Farm which is about 20 minutes away, that is open every day from 10am

Poitiers and Limoges are both 50 minutes drive away from Millac

Poitiers has many large shops and pavement cafes in the center squares.

Futuroscope is just on the outskirts of the town

Limoges is famous for its Porcelain having many shops and factories where you can purchase porcelainJust 20 minutes drive away is the town of they hold a Festival de Confolens of Dance & Music from around the world for 7 days in August

If you fill fit, there is also a Velo rail (pedal railway) which can take up to 5 people, which runs a long a disused railway track Oradour sur Glane and Chauvigny are both about 40 minutes away
